You are a journey — and no journey makes sense until you know two things: who is travelling, and where the road begins and ends. Part One — The Traveller You are not the lines on the page. You are the one who carries them — from one life into the next. 01 — The one who wears the body ## You are not the body. You are its witness. Vedic astrology opens with a line that sounds less like science than like a koan: you are not the body, and not even the restless mind that frets inside it. You are the witness of both — the aatman , the still point of awareness around which a personality gathers like weather around a mountain. The Gita states it without flinching. देहिनोऽस्मिन्यथा देहे कौमारं यौवनं जरा । dehino 'smin yathā dehe — kaumāraṁ yauvanaṁ jarā "As the embodied one passes, within this body, from childhood to youth to old age, so it passes to another body. The wise are not deluded by this." Bhagavad Gītā 2.13 Read that carefully and birth quietly changes meaning. If the same self that watched you grow from child to elder simply moves on when the body is spent, then your birth was never a beginning at all. It was an arrival — a traveller stepping off one road onto another, carrying luggage you can no longer see. 02 — The wheel, and the last thought ## You are pulled forward by what you love That luggage has a name. The soul moves through life after life on a wheel the texts call saṁsāra , shedding bodies the way a traveller sheds worn clothes. But what decides the next life? Here the tradition makes its strangest, sharpest claim: the mind, dwelling and dwelling on a desire, wears a groove — and the deepest groove of all is the thought you die holding. यं यं वापि स्मरन्भावं त्यजत्यन्ते कलेवरम् । yaṁ yaṁ vāpi smaran bhāvaṁ — tyajaty ante kalevaram "Whatever state one remembers as one leaves the body — that very state is attained, for the mind is shaped by what it dwells upon." Bhagavad Gītā 8.6 A tale from the Bhāgavata King Bharata — an emperor who had renounced a kingdom to seek God — once rescued an orphaned fawn, and loved it a little too well. When death came, his mind was not on the infinite but on the deer he would leave behind. And so he was born a deer. The lesson is not cruelty; it is physics. Attention is destiny. The next life is shaped, with terrible precision, to give the soul the very stage its longing still demands. 03 — The three fires of karma ## What is fixed, and what is still yours If desire is the fuel, karma is the fire — and the tradition sorts it into three. There is sañcita , the vast granary of everything you have ever done across every life, far too much to burn at once. From it a single measured portion is drawn and set alight for this life: prārabdha , the karma already in flight, an arrow loosed that must land. And there is kriyamāṇa , the fresh karma you are making this very moment, by every choice. You, at the moment of birth, are a photograph of the second fire alone — prārabdha, the portion now burning. This is why Jyotish is neither fatalism nor wishful thinking. The arrow of prārabdha cannot be called back; the terrain it lands you in — the family, the body, the broad shape of fortune — is largely given. But how you walk that terrain is being written by you, now, in the third fire. The planets incline; they do not compel. A birth is a wish made flesh — the soul handed exactly the stage it needs to finish what it could not put down. Part Two — The Two Lights Before any other planet, the sky lights two lamps — and both of them are you. 04 — Sūrya, the soul's lamp ## The Sun is who you are When the rishis looked up, two bodies outshone all the rest — and they did not treat them as mere lights. The Sun, Sūrya, they named the very soul of the moving world, made luminous. सूर्य आत्मा जगतस्तस्थुषश्च । sūrya ātmā jagatas tasthuṣaś ca "The Sun is the soul of all that moves and all that stands still." Ṛgveda 1.115.1 So in you the Sun is not "ego" in the shallow modern sense. It is the steady, unborn self — the I that has watched every one of your lives and will watch the next. Where it sits is where your soul has come to shine, or to be tested into shining. 05 — Chandra, the restless mind ## The Moon carries the desire If the Sun is the soul, the Moon is the mind it works through — Chandra, the lord of manas . The Veda gives both their birth in a single breath. चन्द्रमा मनसो जातः चक्षोः सूर्यो अजायत । candramā manaso jātaḥ — cakṣoḥ sūryo ajāyata "The Moon was born of His mind; the Sun was born of His eye." Ṛgveda 10.90 — Puruṣa Sūkta And here the whole machinery quietly clicks into place. Because desire — the thing that drags the soul from life to life — lives in the mind, the Moon's exact place at your first breath is no detail. It is the fingerprint of the mind you arrived with. The single lunar mansion it occupies, your janma nakṣatra , becomes the seed of your whole timeline: it sets the Viṁśottarī Daśā, the 120-year clock that decides when each chapter of your prārabdha will open. And time itself — the tithi, the yoga, the karaṇa of the almanac — is woven almost entirely from the dance of these same two lights. And the tradition seals their rank in the highest way it knows — by naming them beside God Himself. In the Gaṇapati Atharvaśīrṣa , the seer turns to the Supreme — addressed here as Gaṇapati, the formless Brahman wearing a form — and pours out His every face: ॐ त्वं ब्रह्मा त्वं विष्णुः त्वं रुद्रः त्वम् इन्द्रः त्वम् अग्निः त्वं वायुः त्वं सूर्यः त्वं चन्द्रमाः त्वं ब्रह्म भूर्भुवःस्वरोम् ॥ tvaṁ brahmā tvaṁ viṣṇus tvaṁ rudras tvam indras tvam agnis tvaṁ vāyus tvaṁ sūryas tvaṁ candramās tvaṁ brahma bhūr bhuvaḥ svar oṁ "You are Brahmā; you are Viṣṇu; you are Rudra; you are Indra, Agni and Vāyu; you are the Sun, you are the Moon; you are Brahman itself — the earth, the sky, the heavens, and Oṁ." Gaṇapati Atharvaśīrṣa · 6 Notice who is named. Brahmā, Viṣṇu, Rudra — the Trinity that makes, sustains and dissolves all things; Indra, Agni, Vāyu — the powers of the elements; and, among the lights of heaven, the Sun and the Moon: tvaṁ sūryas tvaṁ candramāḥ . To name Sūrya and Chandra in the very same breath as Brahmā, Viṣṇu and Maheśa is to grant them the dignity of the Divine itself. The soul and the mind — your two luminaries — are lifted as high as the scripture can lift anything at all. Part Three — The Shadow Twins Two more lights wait in the dark — born of a theft, a beheading, and a thirst that cannot die. 06 — The churning, and the severed serpent ## Why Rāhu and Ketu are here The two luminaries have two shadows — and the shadows have a story, one of the oldest in the whole canon. The churning of the ocean · Samudra Manthana In the beginning, the gods and the demons struck an uneasy truce and together churned the Ocean of Milk to raise amṛta , the nectar of immortality. Mount Mandara was the churning-staff; the great serpent Vāsuki, the rope. For an age they pulled, the ocean yielding wonder after wonder, until at last the nectar itself rose shining from the waters. Knowing the demons would seize it, Viṣṇu took the form of Mohinī — a woman so beautiful the asuras forgot their cunning — and offered to pour the nectar out fairly: gods in one row, demons in the other. But one asura, Svarbhānu , saw through the enchantment. Disguised as a god, he slipped into the shining row and sat — of all places — between the Sun and the Moon. The nectar touched his lips. And it was Sūrya and Chandra who saw him, and cried out. Viṣṇu's discus took his head from his shoulders in that same instant — but a heartbeat too late. The nectar had already passed his throat, and so he could not die. His severed head became Rāhu ; his headless body became Ketu — two immortal halves of one undying hunger, flung into the sky. From that day they hunt the Sun and Moon who betrayed them; and when they catch and swallow them, we on earth call it an eclipse . Bhāgavata Purāṇa, Canto 8 · Viṣṇu Purāṇa · Mahābhārata, Ādi Parva 07 — A head, and a tail ## The hunger, and the letting-go Astronomy tells the same tale in cold geometry: Rāhu and Ketu are not bodies at all but points — the two places where the Moon's tilted orbit cuts the path of the Sun. They are the chhāyā grahas , the shadow planets, and an eclipse can happen only there, at the crossing — which is exactly where the myth puts the swallowing. ☋ ☊ the ecliptic — the Sun's path Moon's orbit Rāhu Ketu Sun Earth 5° 5° The Moon flashes each node as it crosses the ecliptic — the nodes are Rāhu and Ketu But read the severed serpent as the rishis meant it, and the twins become the most exact symbols in the whole system. Rāhu is the head — a mouth and an appetite with no body ever to feel full. He is insatiable craving: ambition, obsession, the future, the foreign, the forbidden — the part of you that wants the world and is never satisfied by getting it. Ketu is the opposite half — a body with no head , no mouth, no hunger. He is what is already finished: the mastery carried from past lives, and the slow letting-go — detachment, doubt, withdrawal, release. One end of the serpent reaches greedily into the world. The other has already turned its back on it. Part Four — From Janma to Mokṣa These four are not four planets. They are the two ends of your journey — and the whole road between. 08 — The four that bound a life ## The gates of birth and release Now stand back and look at what we have. Two lights of manifestation — the Sun, your soul; the Moon, your mind — the lamps by which a self takes birth at all. And two shadow-points of desire and release — Rāhu, the hunger that pulls a soul down into a body; Ketu, the severance that empties it again. Set them side by side, and they stop looking like astrology and start looking like a map of existence itself. Sūrya Ātmā the Self that takes birth Chandra Manas the mind that carries desire Rāhu Tṛṣṇā the descent into life · Janma Ketu Mokṣa the return to the Source This is the axis the whole tradition turns on. The Sun and Moon light the moment of janma — the first cry, the soul stepping into form. Rāhu is the force of that very stepping-in: the thirst that says yes to one more life, one more desire, one more turn of the wheel. And Ketu, the headless one who wants nothing, points the only way off the wheel — toward dissolution, toward mokṣa , the merging back into the eternity the soul came from. Everything else the sky wrote into you — all nine planets, the twelve signs, the twelve houses, the twenty-seven nakshatras — is the texture of the road that runs between those two gates. Between the Sun-and-Moon lamp of your birth and the dark, liberating mouth of Ketu lies a single human life, drawn once, in full, at the instant of your first breath. That drawing is you. To read it is simply to read your journey: where you have come from, what you are burning here, and where, in the end, you are being drawn to dissolve. You were lit at one end by the Sun and the Moon. You are being drawn, at the other, into the quiet mouth of Ketu — which the sages insist is only another name for the Light. Step 2 ## Request details - You must send your request from the same email address that you use to log in to your AI Pandit account. - Use the subject line: Account Deletion Request. - Include your full name and any details needed to identify the account safely. - If you can access the app, you may also delete your account directly from Account Settings > Delete Account . Step 3 ## What you will lose - Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone. - Data deleted with your account cannot be restored. - All your saved birth charts and profiles will be deleted. - Your chat history and insights will be deleted. - All remaining KCoins and wallet transaction history will be permanently deleted and cannot be refunded or restored. - All active subscriptions and purchase history will be permanently removed and cannot be refunded or restored. - All purchased reports, horoscope readings, and digital goods will be permanently lost and cannot be refunded or restored. - Your personalized settings and preferences will be deleted. Step 4 ## What we may retain - Records we must keep to comply with legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, or audit obligations. - Limited records needed for fraud prevention, security, abuse prevention, or dispute resolution. - Limited transaction or subscription records where retention is required by law or payment-processing obligations. Step 5 ## Processing timeline - We will send an acknowledgment email after we receive your request. - We may ask you to verify account ownership before we process deletion. - After successful verification, we aim to complete account deletion within 7 business days . - If additional legal or security review is required, the process may take longer. Alternative ## Changed your mind? If you do not want to delete your full account, you can still remove specific data directly inside the app. - Delete chat history: open the Chat section, open your conversation list, and use the delete option on the conversation you want to remove. - Delete birth charts: open the Charts section, select the saved birth chart, and use the delete option to remove it.
