How to request account deletion
You may request deletion directly within the AI Pandit app by navigating to Account Settings > Delete Account and completing the confirmation flow made available there.
If you are unable to access the app, you may submit a deletion request by emailing info@aipandit.co.in.
Request requirements
- You must submit your request from the same email address associated with your AI Pandit account wherever possible, unless we expressly authorize an alternative verification method.
- Use the subject line: Account Deletion Request.
- Include your full name and any additional information reasonably required to identify and verify the relevant account.
- We may request additional verification or supporting information before acting on a deletion request where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, account protection, or compliance purposes.
What will ordinarily be deleted
- Deletion of your account is intended to be permanent and, once completed, generally cannot be undone.
- Data deleted as part of account deletion generally cannot be restored.
- Saved birth charts, linked profiles, chat history, insights, and account-based preferences ordinarily will be deleted or de-identified as part of the account deletion process, as appropriate to the nature of the data and our operational requirements.
- Unused virtual items, entitlements, KCoins, and wallet balances associated solely with the deleted account may be permanently lost and may not be restored or refunded except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise.
- Data and account-linked functionality removed as part of deletion ordinarily will no longer be accessible after deletion.
What we may retain
- Records we are required or permitted to retain to comply with legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, audit, or compliance obligations.
- Limited information reasonably necessary for fraud prevention, security, abuse prevention, chargeback management, enforcement of our rights, or dispute resolution.
- Limited transaction, billing, subscription, or payment-processing records where retention is reasonably necessary for legal compliance, payment reconciliation, tax, accounting, chargeback management, dispute resolution, or legitimate business necessity.
- Information that has been de-identified, anonymized, aggregated, or otherwise processed so that it no longer reasonably identifies you may be retained and used in accordance with applicable law and our Privacy Policy.
Processing timeline
- We ordinarily send an acknowledgment email after receiving a deletion request.
- We may require verification of account ownership before processing the request.
- Following successful verification, we aim to complete account deletion within 7 business days.
- Where additional legal, regulatory, payment, fraud, or security review is required, completion may take longer.
Alternatives to full account deletion
If you do not wish to delete the entire account, the app provides controls to remove selected data directly within the app.
- Delete chat history: open the Chat section, review your conversation list, and use the delete option for the conversation you want to remove.
- Delete birth charts: open the Charts section, select the relevant saved birth chart, and use the delete option to remove it.
